Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does the front bumper cover needs to be modified/cut when installing a 3rd radiator? Got a line on a 3rd rad setup from a Boxter S.

Yup. You can either cut it out or get the black plastic insert from a tiptronic that already has the center opening.

POST 5Original post

I did not get the duct, I just cut the insert out and left it flow free. I may have sacrificed a few btu of air, but if there was some fancy ducting that gave massive increase over leaving it open, I didn't see the value in the new duct work. I think the channel duct comes with the kit from Pelican, but I did not buy the kit. I spent half the kit price and got the rad off rockauto-com, and the two hoses.
