Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, I have searched and searched, looked at multiple diagrams, and no luck. Can anyone help identify this and where it goes? The only markings on it are: an arrow and the letters V Re (looks like a lower case e) It came from under the rear carpet, where the cabriolet top stores away. I was in there adding hydraulic fluid and saw it laying in there and for the life of me cannot figure out where it goes. Thank you for any help!!

POST 2Original post

Re=Rechts=right. V could stand for vorne, meaning forward/front. The arrow typically points in direction of travel. So it fits somewhere at the right front but I have no clue what it is.

Yes, sorry, forgot to include that part. I know that VR means, Vorne Rechts, just trying to figure out where this goes back to. Thanks for the reply!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bump, still looking to identify where this goes. Thanks!

POST 5Original post

Looks maybe like some clamp type part used in the cable clam shell mechanism...?
