My bumper is on it's way. I'm having my local Porsche dealership do the work. $450 painted and installed. Can't complain there, most of the local bodyshops were going to charge me at least that to get the job done. I couldn't find any shops in my area besides the dealer that had done this conversion before. So with the dealer's price being lower, the decision was easy. Anyway, in regards to the metal bumper support...Does it need to be trimmed because the bumper won't fit on there or is it purely cosmetic and it will show through the bumper openings? The dealer said that they didn't have to trim anything when they did the last one. Same goes for the ducts? From what I've heard from some people on here, it is just a cosmetic thing and the ducts will be visible through the turbo grills if you don't trim them back. My bumper is going to come with turbo ducts. Will they fit on my 02? If the turbo ducts don't fit, Does it really look that bad if you don't trim the stock ducts? The bumper should be arriving on Tues or Weds. I think I'm going to wait till a week from this monday to drop it off. The rennsport thing in daytona is about 6 hours roundtrip of highway driving so I might as well let the stock bumper take the abuse
