I have a new Becker/ Porsche CD changer which I have done everything but hook it up with the cables...everything easy except how to get the cable to the head unit?? I am putting in a TrafficPro at the same time. Configuration is C4 horizontal mount. Any tricks/secrets to getting the cabling from the front boot to the rear dash/head unit? Everything is well buttoned up with no "wiggle" room like in previous cars I have done myself. Any secret passages? Thanks!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I can tell you what I did on my '00 Boxster - Should be the same. You have to open up the battery area and loosen the battery and slide it towards the passenger side of the car. You will see a rubber grommet there on the firewall . Cut an "X" into it with a sharp utility knife. You will be able to feed the cable through this grommet and it will come through above the pedals. From there you can easily route it to the head unit. It helps if you have someone to assist.
