Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The preliminary order guides for the C2 cab, C4S & C4S cab were just released. Being preliminary guides, no pricing included. From a quick scan, no changes (HP, standard wheels, etc.) other than technic package & advanced technic package are back (like in '02), but individual options in those packages are available individually (unlike '02). So it looks like these 3 models will continue as 996s in MY05.

POST 2Original post

So where is the 997 stuff?? Will car come out in the fall or the spring as a 2006.

POST 3Original post

Probably will be release in Europe as an 05, then come over this way as an 06.

POST 5Original post

I am guessing that our 997's will start trickling in around spring of 2005 as 2006 models.

POST 6Original post

That sux, I was hoping by late 2005 I'd have my hands on one.

POST 7Original post

Maybe it's just that those models are 996's and the C2 and C2S will be 997's. That would certainly be similar to what Porsche has done in the past; a phased transition from one model to another.
