Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know the C4S has the same suspension, and brakes as the TT, but is the engine tuned the same as the TT just without the turbos? Thanks, Rob

POST 2Original post

No, it is the same engine as the C2 and C4. The TT, GT2 and GT3 share a different motor.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's what I thought thanks... follow up question then (not that I would do this just curious) could you put turbos on this engine?

POST 4Original post

Porsche offered a 345 hp option for the n/a engine-you may have already known that. I'll bet it's expensive to retrofit. I know you Porsche guys will find that hard to believe..... chuck

POST 5Original post

I believe all the european Porsche tuners offer turbo packages for the standard 996 motors; look up TechArt, Ruf, etc. Probably easier/cheaper to trade the C4S for a TT though.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Absolutely, I don't think I would ever try to make a c4s a turbo, I would trade it up... I was just curious... thanks for the responses.
