I have a couple options codes that I can't seem to find. I've searched rennlist, Kindel as well as Porsche's website to no avail. Does anyone know anything about these options? 9981 9991 I understand that 9991 means "manufactured for the exclusive program". What does THAT mean? Thanks in advance. Path
I think that "99" may be a prefix number for codes that either have "paint to sample" or "leather to sample" Don't know much more than that.
I call these the five digit codes (lead with a '0'). I don't have the official explanation but figure they are for Porsches internal manufacturing use. They don't align with a feature or car component as the three character codes do. I remember getting the 09991 = manufacture from the exclusive program, but no meaningful explanation. I have seen that and other five digit codes on lots of different Porsches.
Can somebody help me decode the following options? 859 895 EC
The "exclusive program" means that the car was a custom ordered vehicle for a specific individual and not a spec vehicle sent to a dealer to be sold......
