Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

nope, no one supports it via radio stations unfortunately
Actually I've had it flip to a report here in NJ on occasion. I can't remember what station it went to, but next time it happens I'll try to remember (it's only happend twice, though). Can't say I like it - I'd rather have the ability to shut it off. It occasionally will sound a tone through the speakers and show "No TP" on the head unit. I'm surprised there isn't a code to disable it.
According to my manual (I have an '02 cab) "If traffic announcements are not desired, the TP button must be pressed until the abbreviation T appears."
The tp button is known to go on randomly but it is because of the text service that is transmitted and is not the traffic program as it is supposed to be. I had a lengthy conversation with the people at traffic pro HK about just this feature, that is why it is advised to disable it as it is not functional yet, and most probably will not be for some time due to the unwillingness of the US stations to support it. - just what I was hammered into my brain but the hope of it to my dismay-
get xm radio--great radio reports continuously in most large us cities
