Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well had to update my Avatar... just shipped the 2001 C4 to the buyer in LA. I really didn't think I was going to be so sad to see the car go, after all I've owned many cars including BMWs, Lexus, Acura and I never was really sad to see them go, but they weren't Porsches. And they weren't my first Porsche. Next year I'm going to buy a 993 C4S, so something had to give

POST 2Original post

Why do you want a 993 C4s? I would get a 993TT. You have a NA C4S . I really like the old turbos. Did you ever consider a Ferrari? Man you dies with the most toys(and different) wins.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I like them both, the TT and the C4S, I would have to research the price difference of both, but my guess is that the C4S (97) would be a better value... don't know yet. My friend has two f-cars and I'm really not impressed... they look and sound amazing but too high maintenance for my liking. If I had Bill Gates cash I would own one because money would be no object, but alas I do not so I'd have to see. And yes, he with the most toys wins

POST 4Original post

remember those 993 C4s were heavy cars, and really not THAT fast. Although, the engine note is really, really nice.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is what I'm talking about... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6433 I'd buy this car now but then I would also need a divorce lawyer...

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah I know, I'm not looking for blazing performance what I'm looking for is a nice crusing-weekend car I can play with and mod forever

POST 7Original post

Riad, 993TT all the way...wow, what a car! Then again, your new toy is no slouch... Def. stay away from those italian head aches...my brother has 2 (I think its so he at least has one to drive, since one of them is always in the shop for something).

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah I'm leaning toward the 993TT, I'll even go as far back as an '87, the car I fell in love with as a kid. It's really funny about the f-cars - when I was at the Ferrari dealership with my friend the salesman said to me that it was completely common for owners to have two of them because of the service intervals... give me a break.

POST 9Original post

Well the problem here for Riad is if he goes for the 993TT he go buy a 996TT cab : ). Man what a combo. Just joking but I would go for a 993TT if price isn't too far apart. Regards. Mike
