Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2003 C4S Right hand drive, UK Spec. Hi guys. I have read numerous threads on this topic, to the point I have confused myself, so I am hoping that somebody may be able to suggest an order of work to diagnose and fix my annoying little issue, please..... Driver window.... works fine from inside the vehicle. Always drops an inch or so as the door is opened, and returns when it is closed. However, from outside the car it sometimes does not stay dropped as the door is opened, meaning I have to hold the handle up to close the door and let go at the appropriate moment so the window raises to the seal. I have found that if I raise the outside door handle slowly it works perfectly, its only if I raise it normally the issue presents... Difficult to explain, but if anybody has a view on which sensor may be faulty or sticky I am all ears... Thanks in advance. Tim
