Typically two maybe three drops of oil per week on the garage floor. Leak is from "dead centre" between engine and gearbox. If it ain't dead centre it's not likely to be the RMS. I haven't heard of any pre 02 996's have the RMS problem.........yet!

and also don't forget alot of times it could be the spark plug tube rings leaking which was the case on my 99 that already had the RMS update and i was relieved when it was just those
