Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dear PSE users, Since I see so many posts on the costly intallation of the PSE with Switch, I am just wondering: 1. Since labor is SO expensive to place the switch in the middle of the dashboard, why not place the switch somewhere else? 2. The switch to manually operate the rear wing is also far to the left on the bottom, can this PSE switch also be located in a different position? Pls advise if any suggestions Marcel PS; the only reason why I worry about the installation of the switch is the sound limits in Europe. If an annual inspection is needed, I MUST be able to turn of the sound... In ALL other cases, of course I would leave on the switch... ALWAYS!

POST 2Original post

There have been numerous posts on how and where to put the PSE switch and spoiler switch in different locations. However, the added expense in labor in installing the PSE switch is not simply related to positioning. You have to route and install vacuum lines, electrical wiring, fuses, etc, vs not having to do this at all. That is what makes the 6 to 8 hour labor difference in installing vs not installing the PSE switch. Not worth it IMHO.

POST 3Original post

If you're not installing the switch, you might as well go for a Fabspeed.
