Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Funny, I had the exact same experience. I bought my car there ( Huntington) and now do business exclusively with Silver Star. I only wish I bought the car from Silver star in the first place, even though they were a bit more pricy it would have been worth it, just to avoid the frustration.

POST 3Original post

I tried to schedule my pre purchase inspection with them and it was 2 weeks before they could see me. Good thing I couldn't take it in.

POST 4Original post

bought my car from silver star and they've been so great for me. got a boxter as a loner and they tried extra hard to figure out my intermittent A/C problem. unfortunately after i drove off from the serivce lot, the CEL came on later that day.

POST 5Original post

Tim I can't see how they are so busy, we were there an entire Saturday and only a couple of people came in? It's really a shame, I bought 2 cars from them since '99. Not a great place for Porsche's reputation.

Tom: This was last week Who knows. The guys I am buying the 996 from(Champion) are warrenting it for 3 months. So I will take it in right away to have her checked up. Ed Newman was going to check it out but never heard back from him
