Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Curious about Bilstein PSS-9 vs. H&R coil-overs on a C4. It is my daily driver, but I track it frequently. Also, are the stock sways compatible with the upgraded suspension, or do I need to go to the GT3 sways? New to Porsche, moved from the M3 crowd, and am impressed with the help and knowledge on this board. Thanks

Literally.....and WOW what a difference.... The car hooks turns and doesnt wallow like before, and bear in mind that its pratically a new car that only has 2000 miles on it With the new camber settings and the ride height at 25.25 frt 25.75 rear...the car is a whole NEW animal

As for the PSS9, you keep the original roll bars. The kit comes with different pivoted levers which engange the roll bar at a different angle to adapt the stiffness of the bars. Cheers, Uwe

sennasixty8 Can you tell me if the H&R rides any harsher then the stock setup. I'm leaning towards the H&R's myself because of the good price compaired to the PSS9. Who install the suspension for you and how much did they charge you. Also, do you have any pics of your car with the suspension installed. Thanks Gobie 2003 C2 http://hobbystage.net/porsche/diamond/

These coilovers ride wonderfully! I cannot explain how much more composed the car is now, especially on sweeping turns with bumps and rippled pavement. Since your in the bay area, try the hwy92/101 sweeping onramps and the same in the eastbay off the 680/580/24 interchanges. The car used to wallow there in mid-corner, but now is flat and responsive all the way thru! Talk about CONFIDENCE, and WITHOUT a bone-jarring or harsh ride. The car is COMPLIANT and COMFORTABLE, and I even live in the CITY of SF!!! I dont plan to go "bombing" thru intersections full of ruts and potholes, but I expect that it will still be a rough ride thru sections like that. As for the deal on coilovers, no-one has been able to beat the TIRERACK on pricing, as far as retail goes, and they're usually stocked close by in Reno/Sparks NV, with NO sales tax. My dealership did the install and has the camber set at -1 degree frt and -1.4 in the rear....handles and tracks perfectly in a straight line on ALL surfaces..... GET THOSE COILOVERS.....you won't regret it! Does anyone need a STOCK set of shocks and springs with less than 2000 miles.....make me an offer here's a before PIC, more to come later!
