Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi, Just wondering where people in Chicago go to get their 996's serviced in Chicago. Any horror stories or kudos would be appreciated. I am looking for a good place to take my C4 but don't know about the reputations of the local dealer service garages. Thanks Bob

Lynch on Irving Park has done a good job for me on 3 consecutive Porsches. The service manager is Bill and he's been at it long enough to be knowledgable. Generally, the same mechanic works on your car, and in my case I've consistently been called with reports. They now have Boxster loaners. They also have scrupulously upheld the warranty, so while routine service is expensive, there are absolutely no hassles on warranty issues. AS

I have had three Porsches serviced by Napleton (Downer's Grove). Service Manager is Kerry Terlep - very knowledgeable, honest, straightforward and fair. [phone removed].

I live downtown but they have been good to me so far that I'm prepared to go out there to get stuff done. They have a brand new facility with alignment equipment that's state of the art, plus the latest engine diagnostics stuff. If you've not bee take a trip before deciding where to get your car serviced. they, I'm sure, would be happy to show you around.

Le Chef, Who is they? are you talking about napleton? Thanks Bob

POST 6Original post

Le Chef, Who is they? are you talking about napleton? I'm surprised if you're not aware of Porsche Exchange in Highland Park! They literally have a brand new stand alone facility just north of Highland Park. The whole thing was finished this Spring and is supposed to be the blueprint for all future Porsche stores. Go take a look!

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My bad, I didn't see that "The Exchange" was in your subject line. Right on. I'll go check them out. Thanks Bob
