Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know if Litronics can be retrofitted to '03 cars and if yes, what parts are required. TIA JM

POST 2Original post

I've been working with Loren and Gert on this and was told that the Litronics/Bi-Xenon lights were upgradeable for '02 or newer. You just need to buy the Bi-Xenon lights and wire it up as the starter and ballast are now integrated in the headlights. You just need to connect the Mass, parking light, low beam, high beam and the headlight works. I was planning on trying it this weekend with my car and robyns. My car doesn't have the Bi-Xenon and Robyns does so we might swap one out to see if it works.

POST 3Original post

I have heard both ways. From my understanding it is the autolevel feature that complicates things, though some have said that it is possible to retrofit w/o the autolevel. I would think that if it is a simple retrofit of the lights, then there would be a retrofit kit available.

POST 4Original post

Yes, Auto Leveling will not work from what I've heard. You need to manually Level the lights.
