Hello Guys, I just got myself a 99 Cab C2 Tip from California, and I will take it in a few months to the Netherlands. (I move back to my home country) Does anybody know if any modifications are needed on this car to make it legal to import into The Netherlands? 1. I heard something about headlights that needs modification 2. How about PSE, will it be legal to import the car with the PSE (without de-activation switch) Anybody any experience? Marcel

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I believe the Belgian and Dutch requirements are about the same. Here is what is necessary for an import into Belgium : The headlights are usually no problem as long as they are not retrofitted Litronics. You need the rear fog light with the correct switch. All the lights (front and tail) need "E" stamps in the glass. The reflectors in the tail lights also need "E" stamps. The tires must have N-ratings. I don't think the PSE will give problems as it is a known factory option. Older Porsches needed far more modifications....
