Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Click here for the write up... By the way, is there any way you can post html script in here? It's annoying having to link to my site. Not to say there's nothing there anyway~~ Either way, this was my first real post so I hope you enjoy~ Had the car for two weeks now and love it. This weekend I'll be installing my B&M shifter so i'll make a write up about that. Also next week or in two weeks i'll be installing my side skirts and/or front bumper. Need to find the parts first!

POST 2Original post

OMG...I thought you were installing clear Altezzas. I would have puked. Nice job on the write-up. I like the alcohol and tobacco inclusion...lol.

POST 3Original post

Parkman, Nice job! I'm looking to do the same. Did you buy new or used? How much?

POST 4Original post

Hi, I was always under the impression that the Litronic kit required some sort of rewiring and drilling, but it looks like from your kit that it is really just pop out and replug back in. Did you order the standard porsche litronic kit?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

the litronics do require some wiring as I noted in my write up. I didn't do it because I"m lazy. i'll probably do it this weekend. the only thing the wiring does is tilt the lights when you turn on your car and/or when you turn on your high beams. you don't reallly need to put in the wires/modulator. i guess i'll put em in just because I got shxx to do this weekend... thanks for the compliments!

POST 7Original post

Hey, nice write up. I thought (though could be wrong) that the Litronics have a leveling circuit in them, so that when you accelerate hard and the rear end drops the light beam stays flat instead of being momentarily pointed at the sky. Anyone know for sure?

POST 8Original post

redcab: The levelling system of the Litronics isn't part of the retrofit kit. It involves angle sensors on the driver side front & rear suspension and cars ordered w/o Litronics won't have the wires for the sensors in the wiring harness (or so I understand).

POST 9Original post

What should one hope to pay for the Litronic kit and taillights?
