Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Living in L.A., i see a handful of 996's every day, but rarely (maybe once) have i seen a modified one. All the ones i see are totally stock, like on the showroom floor (boring). So show off a pic of your modified (mildly or heavily) 996, so i can see what a real one should look like. thanks mike

Ed/Jim, You called those modified? Where's the tinted windows, 19" chrome rims, the fuzzy dice...you know the bling bling? Nice rides guys....

Jim & Ed, It's slippery isn't it? And I don't mean the track. Nice looking cars!

POST 8Original post

Upgrading the wheels is simple, but makes a BIG difference.

POST 14Original post

Love that GT3 look. I do have a question with reference to the front GT3 bumper-are there any internal parts on the vent areas or is it just empty like seeing to the back of it? My regular 996 has the stock bumper but in the center got that wind flow deflector-what does the GT3 bumper have? I'm going to get it done but like to know if other parts are needed. Regards. Mike

Don, your car looks amazing with the painted seat backs and crests.
