Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i'm looking to buy a 1999 carrera in about 9 months...i dont really care how many miles it has on it but i am wondering how much you think i could get one for. im hoping to get one in the mid 30's, maybe even low 30's....do you think this is possible? how much do you think they will be....thanks

POST 2Original post

Low to mid 30s would seem a little low but who knows in 9 months the market could get even softer. As of now, I haven't seen any '99 996 C2 Coupes lower than $41k with somewhere around 37k miles. Good luck.

POST 3Original post

If you look on autotrader there are 500 1999 Carreras for sale in the US. The average price is $47683. I would be very careful buying one for less than 35k. An out of warranty Porsche can cost more money to fix than buying a more expensive one in the first place. While There were quite a few for under 39K they were very high mileage, stolen or salvaged and rebuilt. AutoTrader 1999 Carrera (all US)
