Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

While cleaning that crankcase / bearing carrier I noticed these. What are these and what's purpose of those? There's also those metal clips and some of those are more in forward than the others. Weird - I thought that that crankcase carrier is just a piece of metal but looks like there's some hidden functionality there

POST 2Original post

If memory serves correctly, thats an oil squirter. Should be one for each piston.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, actually no - my photo from under the carrier base. I have removed those squirters. Those holes are in the middle of that cross section. Squirters are more towards the edge.

Maybe you could post a few pics of the whole area not so zoomed in so I can actually see where/what you're taking about. From your pic, my old eyes have no idea where you're looking at....

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, here. Those "mystery" holes are in the middle (white) and the squirter holes are those small orange holes.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
