Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I keep hearing how important it is to break in the brake pads properly. Does anybody know what the correct method is for the PCCB's? I already have 328 miles on the car, is it to late to worry about it? TIA

POST 2Original post

Sloth, It's not too late, I suspect you are doing OK with the brakes. A few hard stops (for 4 or 5 days ) from 90-50 MPH will help a lot. Remember how the boys at Leipzig braked! There you've got it!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sure I remember... felt like the hand of G-d slowing you down.

POST 4Original post

i picked up my GT3 last week. the dealer service man confirmed what has been stated on this site and others....early and often HARD breaking is the proper course. best wishes.
