Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You Tube Check it out and let me know what you think. I'm no expert, just shot some footage on a d3100 and clipped it together in imovie. "like" the video if you...well....like it haha

POST 3Original post

Nice video... I have the same Camera but never really did much video footage with it.

POST 5Original post

Yeah quite cool, I reckon some dusk shots of your car would be great, (city lights look good against the silver, with a dark dusky background. and you can get the lights of the car on.) and I reckon change the part of the film with you driving to normal speed or slow mode. (faster than normal looks like a comedy and doesnt suit the tone of the film!) Slow-mo would suit your choice of moody xx track more.

POST 6Original post

hey by the way my thoughts are only if you wanted some feedback to make it better!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah any feedback would be nice. The reasons i speeded the footage up was mainly because the in car shots were somewaht shakey so speeding it up helped stabilize a little bit. I'm getting a new camera in a couple of days and hopefully a gopro and a dslr camera stabilizer to help get some better shots. Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone, very much appreciated.

POST 12Original post

Like the video and your 911, the rap...not so much.

POST 13Original post

yup some good editing skills girl friend got me the latest go pro last Christmas this what I put together, hence my name "soaringman" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqJTRG5_BiM&list=UUkJvQHU0cHiantZCh6XPXaQ soon Ill put together a Porsche video

POST 14Original post

Dammit, feel the need for a taco spoiler and LED tail lights now. Great little video..

POST 15Original post

Good video, very well done. I like the music choice, I heard the first introduction during the Top Gear "Source of the Nile" special episode.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the feedback guys. Very nice go pro footage Soaringman. 996_North I really like my taco wing and the led lights were a good buy in my opinion. Even went by rennwerke in elmsford, NY (well known porsche technicians) and they asked me where I got them because they needed some tail lights for their track car haha.

POST 17Original post

nice video! I have to say I was hoping to see a 996 drifting during the shots of the rainy lot at the beginning ;-)

POST 18Original post

I was also looking for a shot of the car driving/drifting through the puddles...maybe with a second or two of slow motion video. Nice video though. I enjoyed it. I was holding off buying LED tail lights due to reported problems with the depo lights on the 997. But the 996-style LED lights look pretty good :-)

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bump. Putting a new video into the works pretty soon. This upcoming one should be a little better quality as well as a little longer so stay tuned

POST 20Original post

Really nice work, gave me some ideas as I've been thinking of doing something similar. What's your editing software? Ralph

POST 21Original post

Great job. I did like the faster than normal scenes. Speed without a long viewing time. Early in out focus bits were great as well. Perhaps 1 too many but they were cool. More detail shots of the car would be nice. Great stuff. More please.

POST 22Original post

Yes loved the music too. Fits you and the mods on the car. Edgy new .. not old folksy ancient Porsche guy.

POST 24Original post

I liked it! And I like the CF... I want it all in my car!!!

POST 25Original post

Very cool! Looking forward to Chapter Two. Here's an old one I did with GoPro and "special effects" editing...lol

POST 26Original post

Nice video! Look forward to the next one with the new camera.

POST 28 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah at the time messing with the focus was all i could do pretty much. I invested in a gopro with suction cups etc. And now have a somewhat better camera. Edited on iMovie but eventually would also like to invest in some decent software. Also my CF steering wheel just got some cracks in it so its a shame I didnt have more shots of that

POST 29Original post

Soaringman, Love Yelapa and always wanted to know what the para-sailing looked like up there. By the way, Yelapa is like Fight Club. I don't need my vacations ruined by a bunch of rennlisters...

POST 30Original post

Great job on the video. I am also into videos myself. Here's a short film I did with a Canon 5D Mark II

POST 31Original post

Great video, it actually started off like a tv commercial. The music is not my cup of tea and I would add more motor exhaust sounds, and the car firing up possibly in the garage. Maybe even a fast drive by. Otherwise it was great, I would like to put something like that together with my turbo. Btw the car looks great I miss my gt3 boxster and want one of these too.

Nice teaser! Yeah the 5D is a seriously crazy camera and you had many nice shots in your preview. Looking forward to see the rest
