Hi good evening all. I have a set of original fit 18 inch wheels (5 Spoke style) I would like to keep a 5mm spacer on the fronts as it looks better but my concern is with the standard bolt length? Any help what can I safely use. I am not interested in any other wider spacer just the 5mm. Many thanks I think I will get the best answer here. regards to all.

iirr, 996 oem size lug bolt for a 5mm spacer is fine. Any larger spacer and a larger lug is needed. That being said, not sure what lug bolts you have now...? So, rule of thumb is, at least 6-7 full turns before lug seats, and or should have at least the diameter of the lug bolt in length available to spin into threads... jmo
Take one wheel bolt and push it into the wheel and keep pressure on it . Slide the spacer over , how much thread protrusion do you have ?
