My guilt has finaly gotten the best of me after almost two years and over 700 posts I took the plunge... Rennlist membership. A short story if you will... I had recently bought a Lexus IS300 for my fiance' and I had visited one of the Lexus forums to try to get some info. I was amazed at how little help was offered to the newbie and the amount of trash talking going on. I guess seeing that made me appreciate the overall helpfulness and maturity of the Porsche community we have here at Rennlist.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

As most of the rennlist members are away from the discussion, i'll congratulate you, and thus bring the post to the top for their worthy praises. I've had my 03 c4s for a month now, been visiting this site for about the same time, rennlist membership is in my future too. This site is awesome.
Hey...welcome to the ranks of membership. You know it was your headlight covers that gave me the idea to get mine. Yours look great. Also, I was nosing around the website listed in your profile (I spy), and saw the pic of Steve McQueen. I guess that means you're on the "older side" rather than a young'un. Even tho I never raced I had 2 heroes...Steve and Paul Newman. Last week I was over the shop on the Cape that is adding a couple of things to my 02 Cab and Dave McGraw, the owner of Classic Coachworks (who BTW is the grandson of the founder of McGraw-Hill Publshing..but I digress) was working on several other cars...a ground up Ferrari Dino and several others. But the one I was most interested in was a 52 or 53 J2X Allard that Steve McQueen owned and drove. I actually sat where Steve sat and held the wheel that he held...for me was a neat experience. The pics of Steve's Allard aren't that great, but here they are:
Actualy Don, I still consider myself a young'un as I have yet to celebrate the first aniversary of my 29th birthday (that comes in Feb.) . I do appreciate the older cars though I do not know much about them. However, I do get a kick out of seeing the historic racecars... like the 917K that won Daytona in 1970.
Hey Sloth, how about this one!
