I everyone, I threw this query up on Reddit as I didn't want to flood this board with inane questions but I didn't get any meaningful answers. So to the RennList brains trust. My sunroof doesn't have these side blinds. I'm wondering Are they important? what benefit of having them installed do the offer? Is this the right part? https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...bc=c&q=sunroof If needed can they be installed without having to R&R the whole roof mechanism? Cheers

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I assume the prior owner took the cover off at some point to fix the fabric (as they tend to sag after a while) and didn't bother to put the blinds back on. I had to remove the sunroof cover once to fix the loose fabric and had such a hard time with the blinds that I finally gave up and just left them off.

Hi, How did you remove the sunroof cover? Do you have any steps? I've not found any details online/YT on the steps. I've noticed that the underside (felt panel) is loose so I'd like to try and fix that but unsure how to remove that. Then I think the sunroof panel itself isn't sitting right. When I close the door it seems to jump Sunroof Jumping so wondering if there's adjustment needed there?
If I remember correctly you open the sunroof less than an inch and push the panel towards the back of the car. Once it feels like it has loosened a bit you tilt the sunroof and push the panel back and through the opening of the tilted sunroof. Installation is in reverse.
