Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

While having my CE light looked at, dealer had a brand new '03 C2 Cab configured nearly the same as my '99. I know this has been discussed in the past, but my eye sees that the '03 seems to sit much taller in the wheel well than my '99. Both cars have 18's, both same color (Guards) with black top, no other 'distractions' but for some reason, it even looked like the shipping blocks were still in the springs (they weren't). Has anyone measured? Just wonder why factory would raise them, if at all. Looks odd to me. If I were to buy this car I would definitely have to have something done to bring it down an inch or so.

POST 2Original post

Eric, Porsche did not change the ride height of the 996. The '03 is likely not settled yet as your '99 has.
