Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am considering the option of installing H&R springs on my C4S. I just have a few questions. I have 19" Champion 3 piece wheels, 19x8.5 in the fronts and 19x11 in the rears. Will I have any clearance problems, especially if I accidently dip into a pothole or go over a speed bump? How does the ride change? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I was going to do the same. In fact they sitting by my feet. I did some more reasearch and the way I drive I would not like it. I drive the car very hard in the canyons and the jounce and rebound rates of the shocks unless 030 would not control the car well enough. This is what I read after doing a search in the archives.

POST 3Original post

I went through the same issue. I decided on the Euro M030 and am very happy with the setup. It may not be a drastic drop, but you shouldn't have any clearance problems.

POST 4Original post

I put on the 19in. Champion Wheels and the H&R springs on my 03 C4S. No clearance problems, great looks and it works fine.

POST 5Original post

I also have H&R springs on my car. I agree totally with dpblessing. No real clearance problems that I have not been able to manage yet. dpblessing...what's the supercharger plan??
