Hi guys, I am thinking of getting into my first 911. I am aware of the umm, IMS/RMS issues, so was wondering if anyone could recomend a good place in Columbia to do a PPI that are familiar with these issue and can tell by sound if it has the problem, or is it only a tear down thing. Also, was over revving ever an issue with these motors, or where they electronically cut off? Thanks!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey Touareg, Walts Service could do your PPI. They did my clutch, IMS, RMS...the heavy stuff on my 03 911 C4s. Who has the Car? I would be happy to take a look at it for you. Best, HG
