I just bought a digital camera and was going to contribute the pictures I just snapped including my stereo install, my cars, and various things that I had painted and customized last week but I was not allowed because I am not a member. Is this now a private forum? I understand that $20/year is not a lot of money and I don't want to start a big debate but please let me know if the non-members are really NOT welcome and I will leave. I have gotten a lot of help from all of you over the past 2 years so my thanks to all of you regardless. John

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

How are you reasoning, that not being allowed to post pictures; which consumes expensive storage space and has been in the past abused by pornographic and other non-rennlist items, not being welcomed?
$20 is a small price to pay for all the 'family' you have access to here at Rennlist. If this was a private forum, you would have to pay just to view threads etc. IMO, there isn't really a reason not to join. As you know, there is a tremendous potential at money saving advise here, as well as fast paced entertainment. Just my thoughts though....
You can post pictures, just can't host them on rennlist. If you don't pay, you don't get webspace, it really isn't a big deal.
Thanks Zamirz. That does make perfect sense. I shouldn't get webspace for free and I didn't realize that Rennlist would have to host it. Cobra, you are also correct that webspace is expensive to hold which I also overlooked and thanks for your opinion Chris. I do enjoy the fast paced entertainment.
Sicaone, I hope I didn't sound rude in my earlier reply, but I really enjoy everyones input and 'company' here at Rennlist. I dont ever want to see it disappear. I enjoy getting to know all involved in Rennlist. Now post some pics so we can check out your car! Chris
Non memners are welvomed but they can't upload photos on rennlist, simple as that. What's wrong with that? And you say you've gotten lot of info & help over the past two years, what's so bad about 'paying something back'?
I pulled the trigger. My name is John Sica and I'm a Porscheholic. I will put some pics up soon.
Congrats John, welcome to this wonderful group of addicted Porschephile's!!!
