I wonder why my post doesn't show me as a member, which I have been for a few years now. Do I need to do something specific (numbers in the profile)or perhaps it just takes a while to catch up to me?

Hi Colin: I note that you show as being registered April 8, 03 (from your profile) which is about 22 days ago. I'm sure John Dunkle will get to it shortly. BTW, welcome to the best Porsche forum in the world. Do you have any pictures of your Porsche??

Thanks Don, very glad to be here. I figured it was just a question of things catching up. I've been on the 914 and 928 email digests for years but this is the first forum I've joined and I very much like what I've seen so far. I joined the 996 email digest as well but didn't get a single post. I guess everyone is here instead. Pictures of the car are still in the camera (film type) so I need to pull out the digital on a nice day and get clicking. It's arena red. Funny thing is I wouldn't have necessarily been looking for a red car but this thing looks incredible. We're very pleased with it so far and I haven't been able to get the stupid grin off my face since we got it. Colin
