Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 3Original post

There are also rumors of a GT3 RS for the street (like a Cup car that's street legal). Maybe you read about this car...

POST 4Original post

Made by Porsche themselves? or just aftermarket street legal RS conversions from a regular GT3?

POST 5Original post

Yes, made by Porsche with lighweight body panels. I expect that this car will not be US legal. Supposedly, this car is to be a competitor to the Ferrari F360 Challenge Stradale and that car is very light so Porsche needed to do something drastic...

POST 6Original post

Wow, drastic indeed but if its compeeting with the F360 Challenge Stradale I would think it would be more like a street legal 996 GT3Cup (a kinda lightweight GT3), cause the GT3RS is a freakin' GT-class race car

POST 7Original post

Carlos - Yes, like a Cup car for the street, not like racing GT3RS version. Cup car is over 500 lbs lighter than GT3 road version, btw...

POST 9Original post

Got it but some how I find that rumor hard to believe since it doesn't make sense, the GT3Cup only has 390HP not 410HP/435HP, thats the GT3R(previous version)/GT3RS, and its the GT3RS that is 1100Kg, the Cup's weight is 1200Kg and it doesn't have 19" wheels. So they are not talking about the specs of a GT3Cup but rather a GT3RS for the street?... to confusing, but any which way I would love to see it happen
