Picked up 10 quarts of Castrol Syntec 0w40 (Porsche A40 approved) at O'Reilly's today for 34.99 per 5 quarts plus an oil filter (but the bosch oil filter is not for the porsche, for another make/model). Also 2 for 1 Techron 20 galllon fuel treatment deal.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Nice. I saw 5qt Mobil 1 0-40 for $25 at walmart.
Funny, b/c the few times I've been to the closest Walmart, they don't have the 0W40 Mobil 1. But that is a good deal for sure. I've been using either the Mobil 1 0W40 or Castrol 5W40, and thought I'd give the Castrol 0W40 a try since it was on sale at O'Reilly's.
Walmart had the 0w40 mobile 1 europen formula for $25 for a 5 quart jug. Most of my cars use that oil (BMW, Porsche, and Audi) so every time I go there I buy a jug if they have it. Now I think I have 4 bottles in the garage. It sells out fast and they often do not have it. the indivial bottles are 6-7 dollars and are still cheaper than at the auto parts stores.

+1 ... Wal-Mart's every day price on Mobil 1 0w40 is cheaper than everyone else's sale price. Seems like word has gotten out and the 0w40, in particular, is hard to find. FWIW, I also use it in my generator (a 20 kW Generac) ... seems to start up a little easier when it's 10 degrees out.
