Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any one has photos of drilled holes in exhaust pipe to improve engine sound on a 996 C2 ? Location (before muffler but top, bottom, outsize) and size? First step to the Gundo hack.

POST 2Original post

I would not suggest drilling holes in your muffler. They wil just cause your muffler to fail early via rust. And the sound may not be what you are looking for The best mod for sound is the Fister mod/gundo hack. Do a search and you will find the info.

POST 3Original post

Hi, No, this is not the first step to the Gundo Hack...unless you are talking about the two large holes that are made prior to properly welding in a cross-pipe. As Bornrich said...search on the Gundo Hack or Fister D will answer all your questions... All the best. Ray
