Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A Friend of mine recently bought a White Cayenne and installed a 22 inch gemballa wheels the car really looks amazing ill try to get pictures of it if i had a digital camera well the big news is i raced with him from 0-200 on a staright way and he was just beside me all the way from 0-100 after that i slowly pass but even hardly noticeable ! .. its really amazing how a huge car like this can stick right beside me. its really a very powerfull car with nice sound. i loved it !

POST 3Original post

The all wheel drive and particularly the TIP is slowing your car down. That Cayenne would not have held against a 6 speed C2 Cab.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

no my has is perfect but as Edward mentioned my car is 4 wheel drive and tiptronic, but i tried with a Carrera 2 tiptronic and he was beside me as if a mirror not even 1 cm front or back ! that car was a 3.4 coupe Tip with Gemballa mufflers. so i guess that the Carrera 6 speed will pass the cayenne but not that much just littile bit

POST 5Original post

Bases upon my expeiences at the Barber track, with professional drivers, I think the Cayenne Turbo will beat, or at least match, the C2 in a straight line acceleration test. This is at least good up to the quarter mile point. It did so on the Barber track, lost a little in the corners because of earlier braking (heavier), but got it back on the straights. However, it's apples and oranges, but it does demonstrate just how accomplished the Cayenne is the perrformance of the Cayenne. No one would seriously race a Cayenne against a Coupe. Would they?

POST 6Original post

I don't know. The TIP is what killed him according to factory 0-60 times at least. The C2 Cab 6 speed is quoted by factory at 5.2 seconds 0-60 or 62. I remember the Cayenne Turbo having a number like 5.4 or more like 5.6.

POST 7Original post

Khaled, 1) wait till i reach your side and show the sucker what my 'future' C2 6sp will do 2) given your awd and carrera chassis, isnt there anywhere you could race on curves and bends? am sure you will show him his true colours (barfing yellow!!) Waz

POST 8Original post

The difference from 5.2 to 5.4 is almost negligible. As far as everyday head to head, that is a dead heat, and if a 6 speed were to miss a shift, see yah!

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yep not just the diffrence between 5.2 or 5.4 in 0-60 acctually 0.5 is the time it take you to step on the full pedal so if he did it in 0.3 .. he passed by 0.2 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> acctually raced diffrent cars not by the porsche but other cars where it take 6.7 or 8.1 you can see diffrence in one second diffrence from 0-60 a true drag is from 0-200 here you can know the diffrence for example once i raced with an SMG M3 in my C4 Tip .. if porsche claims 5.7 in my carrera from 0-60mph and the M3 is 4.8 .... i was able to stick to the M3 door till 140 then pass the M3 slowly so the 0-62 makes no much diffrence

POST 10Original post

like i mentioned before, it might your car is having a problem but now i am sure that it can be a bigger problem, the person driving the car too
