Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I picked up a magnificent C4S in Stuggart at the end of February. Every option (Polar Silver, PCCB Ceramic Brakes, Sports Exhaust, Leather/Carbon Fibre/Aluminium interior, PCM, yellow seat belts etc) and after driving the car in Europe for a week, the car is now in transit from the UK by sea, via Florida, USA to the Cayman Islands where I live. It will be a fantastic car to drive in Cayman, but we don't exactly have autobahns down here and speed is going to be pretty much restricted to explosive bursts of energy early morning and late evening when the police are not quite so active. The rear spoiler - now that's not going to get much excercise in Cayman. Official top speed on the Island is 50mph, but there are plenty of places to go well beyond that, but not that many to see the rear spoiler deploying at 75mph ! Does anyone know how to alter the electronics to deploy the spoiler at say 40mph and return it down at about 25mph. I know that there is a manual button for this, but does anyone know how the electronics of the car can be modified to allow this to happen automatically. Suggestions that I'm 'nuts' welcome, but in a small place you have to do something for kicks and I just love to see the rear spoiler rising at the back end of the car. <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

Just put it up when you get in the car there is a switch by the dead pedal. You can also wire in another one in the dash.
