Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We have had a lot of discussion on removing rear seats recently, does anyone know the part numbers for the rear seat removal kit and any other parts fromt the GT3 to finish the interior w/o the seats?

POST 2Original post

Got this from Mike in CA: There is a kit that comes with the Porsche Tequipment Sport Roll Bar to cover up holes after you've removed the seats to install the bar. The part number on the box is 000 044 801 63. It includes a couple of nicely made silver painted caps, two large vinyl covered plugs, and a mini version of the pin that secures the center of the seatbacks so that you can reinstall the cap over the center mounting point.

Cool deal, thats the one! Anyone know if the GT3 had no slots for rear seat belts in the C pilalrs?

POST 4Original post

The parts list shows 2 different part numbers: 996 555 365 90 for GT3 (99 only) 996 555 545 01 for GT3 (00 on) but this number is the same for the Carrera 2/4 so my guess is that the first number may not have slots. Now the other problem is that you have an '03 which has different colored trim than 99's. That part is likely only available in D05 Granite Grey which was the only trim avialable on MY99. Sorry...

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guess I'm SOL.. maybe I'll see if I can get some little plate with '911' on it or something to put over the holes. Thanks for the info.

I did this instead: <img src="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/roses-in.JPG" alt=" - " /> It was NOT cheap.
