On my04 C2 cab, this light doesn't work. It's the one on the door handle.It's part number 996 632 125 00. Can any of you tell me does this come on when the doors open, off when closed? I also don't have any footwell lights if there are any and can't find a fuse. I've looked in my owners manual, The ultimate owners guide and my essential companion. The lights on the bottom of the doors and at the mirrors work. Any idea guys?
I'm not sure which light you are referring to or if you are referring to more than one. The LED on the drivers door pull handle that shines forward comes on when the door is opened. Same as the orientation light in front of the rear view mirror. I don't have footwell lights in my '01 C4. I understand they were an option and not standard.
