Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I found one at Texas Direct Auto but they seem to shady as a dealership. So I figured I would just ask and see. Yes it is an odd "non real Porsche" color but I love it Let me know. If not I will keep looking.....

POST 2Original post

I've never seen that color on a C4S. I'll bet it looked great!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

IMHO yes it does. I have only seen two in all my Porsche shopping years

POST 4Original post

I'll be honest, looking at the car's listing at Texas Auto Direct my fairly well-honed car buying alarm bells do not go off. The AutoCheck on eBay is thorough, with only leasing counting against the car (stupid for a high end car actually). It was CPO'd by Porsche in 2007 and kept by the same local owner in Houston until recently. The interior and exterior look good, with the exception of some wrinkling on the driver's seat bolster. The only shot of the top is from a ways off. I'd want to see that gray up close as they easily discolor. The car has some nice options as well. If you really want a Rainforest Green C4S cabrio I suggest you fly down and look at the car. A good PPI can get past any dealer shenanigans. Good luck!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There is also a wrinkle in the hood that is being fixed right now. See drivers side at about 11 o'clock from the headlight. I am waiting on some info and we will see. May see if anyone on the board is in Houston to lay eyes on it and get a Porsche PPI.

POST 6Original post

Good eye. I thought it was a reflection or a ceiling light. Maybe a new post asking for help in Houston?

POST 7Original post

If you want something that specific and you've found one, I'd make every effort to check it out in person and have an independent PPI. The only way to get past a shady feeling is through independent/personal verification.

POST 8Original post

Special order and optional colors are worth the effort I should know after what I went through Looking for a Zanzibar Red
