Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I took a break from setup for our annual New Year's Eve party to take the 996 out for a while. 75 degrees, not a cloud in the sky...not bad for the last day of December! Happy New Year, RLers!

POST 2Original post

I did the same yesterday. Double digits on a long S curve on ramp to the highway! 2003 Carrera 4S Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 Rust Red

POST 4Original post

Very Happy New Year for me! I drove home from Knoxville in a 2011 CPO 328i x-drive, 6-spd Wagon yesterday. Nice grocery hauler but I sure liked getting back in the 996...(aaahhhh) I'm very lucky to have such fine vehicles in my garage. Happy New Year all! TC

yup... the rain washed away most of the salt, 28deg but just had to go for a drive... happy new year all!

POST 6Original post

Yeap Yeap! Happy New Year to all and wishing I could get out in my C4S Cab today. Nothing but rain and doom and gloom here in Georgia. Funny thing is I was in Germany all last week, the weather was the same there. However I was thinking when I got home the weather would have to be better. Anyhow, I couldn't wait to get home and take my car out after seeing some spectacular Porsche's past me on the autobahn. Now I get home and it's blah blah weather. Meanwhile I have washed, waxed and tinkered with my car in the garage everyday all day :-) Hoping the little fat brown creature sees his shadow soon and we get some better weather. Cheers all my P-World friends. Happy New Year!

Getting 3 inches of snow tonight here. With the wife's car in the shop, she's driving the old 3-series convertible that I normally drive on snow days. So, will be the 996 tomorrow in the commute to work - have to drive to a satellite office about 30 miles from home. It has brand new Hankook Ventus S1 Noble 2 all season tires to go with the AWD, so hopefully all will be well. Interesting way to start the new year! No garage queen here. Here's to a great 2014 to everybody.
