Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone have any recommendations of a good shop in New Jersey that can do the Fister Mod? If not I'll send my cans to Darin, I was just trying to avoid the delays and having to pay to ship them back and forth across the country.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Somebody has to have had their mufflers modified locally...

POST 3Original post

I did the stage 1 (quieter) Gundo/Fister hack a couple years ago. I bought the pipe, fitted them, and then brought them to a local welder. If you bring a picture most any muffler shop could do it. Stage 1 then Stage 2

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks fpb111...I'll look into that if nobody else has had a local shop do it for them.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm near Phillipsburg...central part of the state as far West as you can go...right on the PA border

POST 7Original post

You should come to C&C once in awhile. Closest to you would be Black River Park or Chester. http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/candcnj/info

Call Wil Giovanni sp? at Precision Motors in Califon, NJ [phone removed]. They get many positive reviews through NNJR PCA. If they don't/won't do it they will know someone out that way that does.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks fpb111!!! I put in a request to join CandC group and I'm waiting on my NNJR PCA application to come back. I'll try to get hold of Wil on Monday.
