Can anyone explain the relationship between PSI and boost? I have overheard this many times in conversation and am clueless to its meaning... Thx 99 C2 Ocean Blue Metallic, Fabspeed exahust, BMC filter/Fabspeed performance airbox, Autothority Performance chip.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Boost is the pressure created by a turbocharger or supercharger that causes your engine to make more power if so equipped. The amount of boost is often expressed as the air pressure that the system has created in excess of the ambient air pressure. About 12-15psi is typical. This is also sometimes expressed in Bar (1 Bar = 14.5psi). This is not very relevant for your 99C2 as it has neither a turbo nor supercharger (from the factory anyways). Good luck, Grant
