Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What color interior would you choose for a Polar Silver car?

POST 2Original post

I have the Boxster Red full leather package with signature package and matching three spoke leather steering wheel and it looks great . . .

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sounds great, what do you think about Metropol Blue or Black?

POST 4Original post

I have a Polar/blue car. I really like the fact that the slight blue in the Polar is setoff by the blue interior. In addition, metropol is so dark it looks black in a lot of cases. I only say that because some blue interiors out there are bright blue and would look funny imo... If you want to see some pics, go to my site (www.lotussource.com) and click on my cars, Turbo. Good luck. Roy

POST 5Original post

Does Polar silver have a more visable blue tint in person? or do the pics fairly represent the color?

POST 6Original post

I like black and I also think the light grey looks nice. Both seem to be better for resale if thats a concern.

POST 7Original post

Polar Silver does have a bluish tint to it. I have Arctic Silver which is a more "neutral" silvery and probably adapts itself better to black/blue/B.red/gray interior. IMHO with the Polar Silver I would stan with Met Blue or Black. I also believe in breaking up the interior with exterior color console, and a little carbon fiber or alum here and there (not the package) just to break up the expanse of a "uni-color" interior. Boxster red w/carbon fiber wheel/****/handle would go well with the black switches. Also if you have the ext color console you can add alum pieces like pedals or instrument rings, etc. to break it up a bit. I'm not an interior decorator...I just play one on the Forum ARCTIC POLAR AS/MB
