How many Porsche owners out there have received the Cayenne video/literature in the mail? My friend is a 5 time owner of Porsches, and he got this video last month. I, on the other hand, am a one time owner, and have not received anything. I am trying to see if there is a trend between $ spent on Porsches, and marketing effort based on receipts of new product videos.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have received all of the promotional items on the Cayenne. My wife who has been a brand manager for more than 5 years says she has almost never seen anything like it. . .lots of dollars spent by Porsche!
I have received 3 very nice Cayenne packets but no video as of yet.
I signed up and have received 3 also
I just got the video. I think others got it earlier so maybe they are sending them in waves... Good video btw. Roy
No video for me, I've only had my '02 996 for seven months. Maybe they are doing the mailing based on when you bought your Porsche?
I've gotton three as well. To me it seems like kind of a waste.
It's not determined by amount of dollars you've already spent with porssche, but your likelihood to spend on a Pepper in the future. If you register on the Cayenne website, they'll ask you own a porsche, and if you're interested in buying a SUV in the near future. Mark yes and you'll get all the mailings too. This is pretty typical relationship marketing for a high-end product I got the video, but haven't looked at it yet. I am very interested in seeing what the Cayenne is like - my ultimate fanasy is FF, mpm, and others will end up with one. I think I'd rather buy someone else's suv as a tow car and a porsche track car for the same money. M in C
I wonder if geographical locations has to do with when you get the video. I own a 2000 996 living in PA and got mine early this week. My friend who owns a 2002 996 living in NJ had gotten the video yesterday. I want one! I would buy the S when I have enough extra money.
I received the video and the book Cayenne the third Porsche., .Good quality items.
Got the package with the video I don't own a VCR Wheres the DVD? Ah..all segments are on the net. Want a vhs tape?
I got two! One in my name i registered for info on the Porsche website. One in my wife's name not sure why but the car was previously registered in her name and the info was sent to PCNA.
I have a lowly '90 C2, have no interest in buying a Cayenne, could never afford it and I have received all of the C lit including the latest vid.
The Video came today.....
Having been involved in the "RFP" for the Cayenne launch I will tell you that Porsche puts a premium on image and branding and less on direct marketing. Every car company goes overboard on new vehicle launches. Ad budgets of $50 million to $100 million are becoming a norm in the first year of a launch. Cayenne won't be as high because it is a lower volume vehicle.
Oh yes, One of my coworker that drives an Escalade with the GIGANTIC "dubs" and lotsa chrome got the Cayenne video. Does this mean that rap stars will soon be driving low-rider Cayennes with neon lights? Can't wait...
I most be special. I have received, not once, but twice the video with little book. I can't decide whether I should feel good or PCNA just thinks I'm a little slow and need to hear things twice. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
Yep! Got Cayenne! I think Mike in Chi-towns got it ...reg. on the p-site & if you do have a Porsche you get hte stuff... I think I got 3 pkgs. Pretty cool , but wish they spent a 1/3, an spent the other 2/3rds on the Factory backed RACE CARS! Wada Say? Seasons Greetings Bill '02 C2 '91 C2 (Track Miester)
Have got everything twice, probably once for buying a new Porsche in 1998 and I am sure I have registered on their site at one time or another. Mailings starting to scare the wife, keeper of the RR. She thinks the Cayenne is almost comically ugly, doesn't give a damn about the time around the 'Ring. Not sure I disagree, but will probably drive one at some point. More interested in the new Range Rover and the Touareg. Folks, I imagine Porsche will have rather more money to race with if the thing doesn't bomb than if it does...
