She's asleep for the winter. Maybe. If the weather's nice for the ride on the 28th I might wake her.
Luckily I got the break in miles done before the bad weather set in. The week of Thanksgiving I took vacation just to get those miles in. I hit the 2k mile mark and did an oil change. The oil change was incredibly easy, thanks to Loren's DIY page. I have a friend at a MB dealer who got me the 0w-40 Mobil 1 at a discount.
Then I took her out and......what a ride...this car is a catapult. You get to shift up from 3-4th at redline and the car just keeps pulling like a freight train. I can only imagine what a turbo or GT2 is like.
I can't wait for the warm weather and auto-x season...

Weather! AWho cares what the weather is like! DRIVE the car! I put my snow tires on and drvie in ALL weahter! My C4 Cab is better than my Jeep Overland in the snow! It's not so much the car that I am concerned about. My wife is working that weekend, so I was going to bring my 14 month old son. I really don;t want to drag him out in nasty weather.
You winter drivers are brave! Mine is sleeping till at least March <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" /> I hate driving on roads after they salt and sand. You can almost hear the paint chipping off!
The pacar can handle it very well! Whats a couple of paint chips anyway? It happens on ANY car or truck. Yeah it sends a shiver down my spine when I hear something hit the car but I've heard that in the summer also.. Its going to happen DRIVE THE CAR!!! The pleasure is well worth it!
