Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello everyone! I hope someone can help me with my Becker CDR23. I have tried different places without any luck. My car stereo sometimes appears with legend Protect (although this Becker model does not require a code) and sometimes in turns on with an FM station, but no sound. None of the buttons work! Thank you everyone!

Appears to be the same as the Monza in our 993. Assuming you have a good battery and charging system, grounds, etc., I find these radios sensitive to power quality, it may simply be old. Becker AutoSound USA are great folks who have supplied replacement radios for every one of our old P'cars and a few others over the years. They will even add Bluetooth. Cannot recommend them enough.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
