Is it true that? After leaving the car One Week time: Opening the door with the remote key would be impossible, that you have to open it manually, which makes the theft alarm on, then everything goes back to normal. fadz-C4S/02

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

actually, after not using the car for 5 days, it switches to a battery saving mode, which will leave the alarm working normally, but prevents the battery to weaken too much,so the standby feature for the remote opening of the doors is switched off. i consider it a clever solution.
Thanks Yves,
Summarized from the manual: Unlock the drivers door with the key but leave the door closed to prevent alarm activation. Press 1 on the remote control and the remote control is then activated again.
It's not a clever solution, it's a stupid problem. Why can almost every other car manufacturer in the world design cars that can be left for extended periods of time without having to resort to power shutdown? First time I tried this after leaving my car parked at the airport for 8 days or so the alarm went off. Very cool
Why are you parking your Porsche in an airport parking lot to begin with??? Almost every single person I know who has done that, came back to see their car bird-****ted on, scratched, and most commonly DENTED!!! Airport parking lots are wrecking yards!!!
