Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

'01 C2 coupe. No T/C button..just a PSM button. Maybe just a rename/marketing gimmick?
T/C !! Turbo Charge!! If I remember right, there was no PSM on MY99 996.
My 99 C2 had T/C, Traction control, applies the brakes if drive, rear, wheel(s) exceed the rotational rate of the front wheels. If conditions persists it will dethrottle teh engine. PSM includes the above features plus stability control, appropriate braking and/or dethrottling to overcome tendancy to understeer or oversteer.
yeah, basically tc brakes wheel spinning that gets power c2 rear only. psm when there is slippage from cornering with g sensor also applies necessary brake all corners. I don't like psm!
SPR...well, not exactly. When turning left and the tail "threatens" to come about, over-steering, VSC will moderately apply the right front brake. Right turn, left front brake. PSM will actually let the tail hang out a bit first, giving the driver a chance to react, before activating. If understeering, VSC will moderately apply both rear brakes and dethrottle, both pretty much instantly. PSM will "delay" and then moderately apply only the inside (of the turn) rear brake and then dethrottle. VSC = Toyota/Lexus
Just another note an MY 99 cars with TC... It also includes a parital LSD (60% locked) and this was the only year it was offered.
