Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

The price looks right if all checks out ok. Get an independent PPI not owner or dealer. Read everything that the 1999 C4 is supposed to do and make sure that it does just that. Read https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...96-thread.html Good luck..
If you don't need all-wheel drive, a good friend here in NC is selling his 2000 Carerra with 74k and a replacement factory motor. His initial asking price is $1k lower and he just did a full service and the car is in fabulous condition. He wants a 997 and is ready to sell! http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...ngId=344324751
Miles? Have hardtop? Price sounds high unless it is low miles (under 50k) and well optioned. You see a lot of the 99-01 cars in the low 20s that sit around for sale a LONG time. Also, the C2 cabs seem to bring as much or more than the C4. Unless you want a C4 for whatever reason it isn't a selling point, just more weight.

You don't need all wheel drive! But maybe you do need a cab? This one above looks sweet, and has a new motor and clutch!

Sorry, missed your C4 was a cab. Someone needs to buy Charles' '00!
