Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to install '02 Xenon lighting kit over the '99 - models with the front turbo spoiler. Anyone done it? Tks.

POST 2Original post

Most likley will need fenders and hood. Call ByDesigh in LA.

POST 3Original post

My mechanic had an "02" in the shop. The guy wanted the GT3 Nose, So I looked and it seems everything is the same except the nose and the light assembly. Even the mounting points didnt seem to have changed. A little more investigation would be prudent, but from first look I would guess you could do it.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

C4FDR, You mean some kind of clips adaptators or something? I'm In Switzerland, Europe, so to contact byDesign in LA,USA, is Thanks anyways. I know it's possible, someone do it in anothe forum..but..?

POST 5Original post

While I was in the dealer the other day I saw a 00 996 being modified like this. The owner got a C4s bumper and lights and the dealer did it. I guess the mounting points are the same for both cars because i asked the dealer about it and he didn't mention any problems during the process.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So it's possible even done by the dealer! With no modifications!!! I 'll take a look. tks.

POST 7Original post

Don's computer is sick so he asked me to reply. He thinks that the shape of the fenders for MY 02 changed somewhat and the 02 Turbo nose might not fit w/o modifications. (did I say that right?)

POST 8Original post

Some one posted an upgrade package on ebay a while ago. Basically, you need new lights, left & right fenders, and new bumpers. Any one care to suggest whether this adversely impact on resale value?

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any one care to suggest whether this adversely impact on resale value? Paul, i was wondering about this question... Seems at the dealer to be possible to do this modification. I luv the turbo, C4S front look..
